Co-Founder

Joe Lucey Pop-up Line

Patty is the co-founder of Secured Retirement and joined the day-to-day operations in 2008. Together with her partner and husband Joe they have grown Secured Retirement into one of Minnesota’s top financial firms. They pride themselves on creating a place where team means family and where customer excellence is a priority.

As a Secured Retirement leader, Patty leads the office by example, helping others. She is flexible and always willing to support whatever role she can. She is dedicated to the success of others and the clients that she serves.

Patty approaches every obstacle with strength and integrity. In 2019 she was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. She recognized that although she was very experienced in Health Care Planning and Legacy planning, she now had a different perspective on the peace of mind that financial planning brings, especially in sickness. Cancer chose the wrong person when they picked Patty. She kicked cancer to the curb, all the while leading the office move and renovation.

Patty’s pride and joy are her family, her husband Joe, and son Gavin. She enjoys being with friends and buzzing around Lake Minnetonka in their boat. When she is not boating, she is a chauffeur enjoying life as a hockey mom.
